Amber Rose is having a rough pregnancy.
Rose, born Amber Levonchuck, took to Instagram to reveal that she’s suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum, saying: “So I was going to document this pregnancy a little bit more than I did with Sebastian cause with Sebastian I had hyperemesis and I have hyperemesis again with this baby.”
According to the American Pregnancy Association, hyperemesis gravidarum is “a condition characterized by severe nausea, vomiting, weight loss, and electrolyte disturbance. Mild cases are treated with dietary changes, rest, and antacids. More severe cases often require a stay in the hospital.”
Rose, 35, described her symptoms as “extreme nausea, vomiting and dehydration.” She is also exhausted and “pretty much sleeps all day.”
Amy Schumer and Kate Middleton also suffered from the condition during their pregnancies.
“God bless women,” Rose added in her post. “We are resilient. We can do it. It’s really, really hard being pregnant, I’m not gonna lie. To all the women out there who pop out babies like it’s nothing, God bless you guys, cause oh my God, it is just a lot. I want to be out. I want to be cute. I want to show off my belly, but I just can’t get off this couch! I’m tired, and I just want to barf all day, it’s just not fun. But it’s totally worth it.”
She previously blasted her “toxic ass fake friends” for not supporting her during her pregnancy, saying: “Funny how my phone blows up when I’m having pool parties and s—t is lit. But as soon as a bitch is sick and pregnant it’s crickets.”
Rose revealed that she was expecting a baby boy with her Def Jam Records exec boyfriend Alexander Edwards in April. Edwards and Rose began dating in October, with Page Six exclusively breaking the news in January.
This will be Rose’s second child. She shares Sebastian, 6, with ex-husband Wiz Khalifa.
