Pixie Lott marries Oliver Cheshire in star-studded wedding at stunning cathedral

Celebrations are in order for Pixie Lott and Oliver Cheshire, who have officially tied the knot following a five-year engagement.

The 31 year old singer and the catwalk model, 34, exchanged vows at the Ely Cathedral in Cambridgeshire, which reportedly was surrounded by a huge marquee and wedding decorations, according to CambridgeshireLive.

Pixie looked incredible in her white strapless gown, while Oliver was smart in a slick black three-piece suit with a single white rose in the pocket.

Guests such as McFly's Danny Jones and his wife Georgia Horsley, TOWIE's Tom Pearce, and Idris Elba's wife Sabrina were in attendance.

Ahead of the ceremony, Oliver was seen beaming as he headed into the cathedral with his entourage of groomsmen.

Meanwhile, one of Pixie's pals took to Instagram to share some behind-the-scenes snaps from the day, including the inside of the cathedral.

She also posted a "welcome box" sent by Pixie and her other half, which included a bottle of Champagne, a scented candle from Neom, Ibuprofen, a shot glass and a small bottle of liquor.

She then shared a short clip of the 'Glam squad' getting ready for the event – with all the bridal party getting their make-up down in Givenchy-themed seats.

Pixie's pal wrote over this: "Casual spot to get glammed".

The wedding finally went ahead after new! magazine revealed the couple had no choice but to cancel their nuptials on several occasions throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.

In March, Pixie told the publication: "We're getting into the nitty-gritty now.

"I always felt like it was so far away, but it's really creeping up on us now, so we're happy that we're finally doing it. It's been a long time coming."

Speaking out on why they decided to postpone the wedding, she shared: "I didn't want to do it when there were restrictions, and we couldn't invite everyone we wanted to because of the rules. I wanted to wait until we could have the big party- our wedding will be a big party."

Pixie and Oliver got engaged back in 2016 in St Paul's Cathedral after six years of dating.

At the time, an onlooker told The Sun: "It was so romantic – Pixie didn't seem to have any idea he was going to ask her to marry him and started sobbing with tears of happiness.

"When she couldn't stop crying, Ollie asked a passer-by for a tissue as he said he didn't want to give her his snotty hankie.

"They then hid behind a pillar for some privacy, but they didn't seem to have a care in the world about who saw their special moment – it was like something from a movie."
