Nicki Minaj has called out women who send messages behind people's backs after a TikTok user claimed to show messages that he alleged were from Leigh-Anne Pinnock's Instagram account hitting out at her former Little Mix bandmate Jesy Nelson.
TikTok user NoHun, whose real name is Raurie Williams, took to social media to claim to his 343,000 fans that in shared screenshots of messages he apparently received from Leigh-Anne's account, she allegedly called Jesy, 30, a "horrible" person. It is not known who amongst Leigh-Anne's entourage has access to her social media account.
The messages claimed that NoHun "should create a video around Jesy black fishing" – which means to accuse someone of pretending to have Black or mixed race heritage – in the video to her new solo single Boyz.
Now, rapper Nicki, 38, has appeared on an Instagram live to her 160 million followers with Jesy, where she slammed women who send messages behind their former colleagues' backs.
The Bang Bang hitmaker said: "If I was rockin' with you for 10 years and there was something so horrible about you and I kept doing business with you and getting money with you and s**t like that for 10 years…
"And then as soon as we part ways I'm texting people, telling people to bring s**t up negative about you. Immediately, that person has to wear a big red clown nose and a pair of big red f**king clown boots, cause you're a f**king clown.
"When people part ways, go about your f**king business. Because when you part ways and you do something messy to someone you were, you know, whatever. When you try to bring somebody down cause you see them continuing to trying to pursue their passion, to make money, to feed their family, you are a f**king clown."
Nicki went on to explain how some women in the US get tanned and get "bigger lips", but it doesn't mean Jesy is trying to look like she's not white.
"As long as you're not hurting anybody or speaking negatively about someone's race or culture, you should be able to enjoy your body, your make up, however you want," she continued.

"Sweetheart take them text messages and shove it up ur f**king a**, because when you do clown s**t I gotta treat you and talk to you like you're a clown."
She added: "It screams insecurity, it screams that you're jealous, only jealous people do things like this and now you just look like a big jealous bozo."
After staying silent throughout Nicki's speech, Jesy responded: "Thank you babe honestly that really means a lot."
She added: "I just wanted to celebrate that era of music because it's what I love, my intentions were never ever to offend anyone.
"It does really hurt me that I may have offended people and hurt people's feelings by genuinely celebrating things that I love."
Jesy also noted that in the video for her single Boyz with Nicki, she didn't have any fake tan on. She had been in Antigua for three weeks and said she's "lucky as a white girl" because she tans really well.
