But while there are many fans out there looking forward to his new venture, one felt very differently.

Taking to Twitter, Nick replied to a separate fan who wondered whether the show would begin this week, writing back: “Yes it is.

“Not much of a one for trumpet blowing.”

Following his humble response, a disgruntled user decided to share their thoughts and it seemed they weren’t afraid of upsetting Nick.

“I will make sure to avoid that show like the plague,” they snapped, promoting another fan ask if they were having a bad day.

But Nick rose above the negativity and decided to make a light-hearted joke out of the situation.

“Thank you for taking the time out of your day to let me know,” he laughed.

Others rushed to the comment section to reassure the DIY expert and make some sarcastic jokes of their own at the user’s expense.

“I’d go off social media for a day or two Nick just to recover,” one quipped.

Another added: “However will you cope Nick?”

“Omg your world must be shattered Nick,” a fourth giggled.

A fifth joked: “You can rest easy now Nick.”

“However will you survive!” a sixth commented.

Nick Knowles’ Big House Clearout begins tonight a 8pm on Channel 5.
