Morgan Wallen has extended his reign on the Billboard Artist 100 chart, staying on top for a fourth straight week, surpassing Jason Aldean for the most weeks spent on top among core country artists.
The resounding success of his second LP, Dangerous: The Double Album, which spends a fourth week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, has contributed to Wallen’s reign atop the Artist 100.
According to MRC Data, the record logged 149,000 equivalent album units (up 14%) in the tracking week. Additionally, 10 of his songs figure on the Billboard Hot 100, led by “Wasted on You” at No. 26.
Metallica roars from No. 66 to No. 2 on the Artist 100 chart, riding on six new vinyl reissues of the band’s albums at Walmart, while Lil Durk surges 26-3 on the list.
Among all acts, it is Taylor Swift who holds the record for most weeks spent atop the Artist 100, having hit No. 1 as many as 45 weeks.
