Maura Higgins looks almost unrecognisable in previously unseen snaps taken before her Love Island arrival.
The Irish bombshell made a dramatic entrance in Tuesday night's episode, oozing confidence as she strutted in the villa to meet the boys.
But stunning before pictures of Maura reveal she underwent something of a transformation before landing a place on the popular ITV dating show.
In the resurfaced modelling shots, Maura poses in a revealing purple bikini to show off her naturally slim physique.
Her lips also appear to be thinner in the 2012 snaps than the plumped-up glossy pout she was seen sporting on her dates with the Love Island hunks.
Maura, from County Longford, said ahead of the show that she considered her eyes to be her best feature.
But the grid girl was deemed the whole package by the male stars of the ITV2 dating show who appeared particularly smitten with Maura last night.
28-year-old Maura slow-walked into the villa alongside fellow late arrival Elma Pazar as part of a bid by bosses to shake up the existing couples.
There had been fears the series was becoming safe with four contestants already going exclusive – with many more heading that way less than two weeks in.
However, when Maura showed up in her white mini dress and strappy gold heels, many of the boys who had deemed themselves 'loyal' had their heads turned.
And no more so than boxer Tommy Fury who was tasked with with making the pretty brunette a starter.
While the ketchup and cheese creation did little to impress viewers at home, Maura was clearly impressed with the sportsmans efforts.
The two hit it off immediately with Tommy's shunned partner Molly-May Hague watching their flirty antics in horror from the balcony.
Maura was causing controversy even before her arrival after it was claimed she had been pulled up on her use of offensive langauge .
In footage dated March 26, Maura yells the word "f****t" while on holiday in Dubai with her friend Jennifer McSween.
According to the Daily Mail, Maura was quoting from the comedy hit The Hangover, which faced controversy over its X-rated content.
She shouted, "Paging Dr F****t!" – a direct quote from Bradley Cooper's character in the movie.
Maura then turned to the camera and said: "Are you ready to let the dogs out?"
The clip reemerged just hours before Maura was due to strut into the villa – and Love Island bosses confirmed they've had a talk with her about her language.
We do not tolerate any offensive language in the villa," an ITV spokesman said.
"We speak to all of the islanders to remind them of what we condone to be acceptable behaviour during their time on the show."
