The romance between Love Island's Lucinda Strafford and Aaron Francis is over already, days after they were dumped from the island.

The blonde bombshell, 21, admitted she “didn’t find love” in the villa after her three-week experience on the hit ITV2 dating show, but insisted that she and Aaron will continue to remain friends.

The Brighton babe shared in a new interview with MailOnline how the sparks between her and 24 year old Aaron may have gone out, after they were evicted from the Spanish villa by the public.

In her first interview since she landed back in the UK, Lucinda suggested her relationship with Aaron had come to an end.

She told the publication: “Unfortunately, both of us didn’t find actual love in the villa. We’re great friends, I know that I can come to him for anything.

“The aim of the game is to find love and I did really want to … I made amazing friends in there.

“We’ll definitely meet up, but whether it’s a date … we’re unsure what’s going to happen romantically between us …

“If it’s not romantically we’ll be really good friends. We did like each other in the villa, which was quite obvious, but we were only coupled up for a few days.”

The pair landed back in the UK on Tuesday arm in arm but it appears it was just an embrace of friendship as they decided to call it quits on their relationship less than 24 hours later.

When Lucinda, who was recently accused of selling fake Dior, first entered the villa she was partnered up with Brad McClelland.

But when the couple were voted the least compatible on the show, the 26 year old builder was dumped from the Island.

Aaron wasted no time and put the moves on Lucinda just hours after Brad’s shocking departure.

But clearly it wasn’t meant to be, as the public worked against their favour and the two were later voted out of hit dating show.

Brad recently revealed how he plans to pursue things with Lucinda after she leaves isolation.

He shared: “Lucinda was a massive part of my time in there, so regardless of what level it’s on, I will be pulling her for a chat.

“Even just as a catch up and see how she’s feeling. Maybe once she’s out, I'll be waiting at the airport with a bowl of special K.”
