Love Island star Curtis Pritchard has been targeted by cruel trolls on social media who have shamed him for “wearing makeup”.
The TV star, who found love in the villa with Maura Higgins, was preparing for his new role on The Greatest Dancer, as he shared a snap of himself backstage.
Being made up backstage, Curtis looked TV-ready as he sat with a makeup artist behind the scenes of the BBC show.
But some fans were less than kind to the reality TV star, being targeted by cruel trolls in the comments of the photo.
“Why is he wearing a full face of makeup,” one fan commented.
A second added: “Why do you pull the best girl in the villa then put makeup on wtf.”
While a third wrote: “Looking like Maura with the makeup on.”
Others rushed to defend AJ Pritchard’s brother, with one writing: “All men on TV wear makeup!”
A second added: “He’s filming a TV show? Why does it matter anyway?”
While a third wrote: “Why the negativity? You talk as though he is doing something wrong.”
It comes after Curtis was confirmed as the new receptionist on the BBC dancing show following his stint in the villa.
“Early next year, I am going to be on The Greatest Dancer, and I’m going to be taking on the receptionist role,” he said on The Scott Mills Show on BBC Radio 1.
“I’m there to build them up and having fun with them,” he added.
