Some go on Love Island to find The One, others for a bit fun, but there's no doubt that sexy singleton Dami Hope will bring some "trouble" as he once called himself a "verified playboy".
The 26 year old star was the first male contestant to be announced for the 2022 series, which is set to kick off on 6 June with Laura Whitmore back at the helm as presenter while her husband Iain Stirling will bring the laughs with his witty remarks.
Senior microbiologist Dami, from Dublin, Ireland, has already described himself as "funny" and "passionate", while not being one to shy away from a little trouble.
But it appears Dami is far more than your average Aries looking for love, he's also one very confident man who poses in designer clothes like Dior and Prada and believes himself to be a bit of a womaniser.
In fact, in April, the love hopeful shared a photo of himself dressed in a denim jacket with dark trousers, Yeezy trainers and a Dior bag, which he captioned: "Verified playboy," followed by a tick emoji.
In another photo he once shared of himself, he wrote: "The streets say I play girls, can’t blame ‘em for thinking like that".
While he's clearly a very self-assured person, other captions to photos reveal he is actually looking for love as one read: "If you see love tell her I’m ready to meet her".
Announced as a contestant on the hit ITV dating programme among many others, Dami shared that he's been "open to new things" in the last few months of 2022 and this is why he decided to "put himself out there" for the show.
"Love Island is a different experience, I will be talking to different girls, it might not go well with some, might go well with others, so it’s a fun experience," he explained.
Dami vowed to bring just himself to the villa as he's a "funny" guy full of personality.

However, it seems he's not afraid to ruffle a few feathers as he shared: "I don’t know if I will cause trouble, I’ll try not to cause trouble but sometimes you don’t intentionally cause trouble – but it happens!"
Sharing why he believes he's a catch, Dami said being an Aries makes him very passionate, which means he always puts the other person first.
He added: "If they had something they wanted to do or something they were passionate about, I’d make sure that even if it’s something I’m not talented at I’d get talented at it just so it helps them.
Love Island 2021
"I’m really good at being in a team and actually looking after each other."
Fans of the programme are already excited to see Dami in the villa as they've flocked to social media to react to his announcement. "I have high hopes for this one," one person commented.
Another shared: "Dami is hot BTW," followed by a red heart emoji, while a third added: "He’s handsome [fire emoji] can’t wait to see him enter the Villa".
