Khalid and Disclosure have reunited for “Know Your Worth,” the second single from Khalid this year after “Eleven.”
The song, Khalid’s second collab with Disclosure following the Grammy-nominated “Talk,” debuted as Zane Lowe‘s World Record on Apple Music on Tuesday.
“When I started writing this song, it was like I was singing to myself in the mirror,” Khalid told Beats 1 of the track’s inspiration.
He added, “I feel like the message in this song is something that I needed to hear at the time I was writing it and I hope that it resonates with a lot of people who need to hear that kind of message.”
“You don’t know your worth/ All the things I know that you deserve/ Say it’s not real if it doesn’t hurt/ Find someone you know will put you first/ Find someone who loves you at your worst,” the “Free Spirit” singer croons on the chorus, sending out a message for a lover.
The two singers teamed up last year for “Talk” and the song earned them a Grammy nomination for Record of the Year and also featured on Khalid’s second album, Free Spirit.
