Tyson Fury’s wife Paris Fury gave birth to the couple’s sixth child on Sunday, sharing the news on social media. The boxer has since urged fans to pray for his daughter Athena, after the newborn was placed in intensive care for a second time today.

The 32-year-old shared a candid photo of his new arrival laid in an incubator while hooked up to various wires.

It comes after Tyson explained that following Athena’s birth she needed to be taken into ICU for immediate support.

The baby was taken off the ventilator yesterday, after being in a stable condition.

The champion boxer has now provided an update in view of his 4.4 million followers.

Tyson penned: “Baby Athena is back on ICU please keep her in your prayers.”

His other half Paris previously thanked well-wishers as Athena’s health continued to improve.

She wrote on Instagram yesterday: “Thank God she’s doing well.

“And thank you for all your messages, thoughts and prayers.”

It follows Tyson previously revealing that his newborn baby daughter was “off the ventilator”.

The world-famous athlete shared a clip of himself cradling his newborn yesterday, telling his followers: “Hi guys, the baby’s doing fantastic, a lot, lot better. She’s off the ventilator, she’s doing really good, look, she’s lovely.”

Tyson has since set up a GoFundMe page for donations to the Ronald McDonald House Liverpool to thank them for looking after Athena.

They offer accommodation for families with children in Liverpool’s Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.

In a previous Instagram story, he wrote: “Please can everyone pray for my baby girl who was born this morning. Athena Fury born 8/8/21. Thanks. God is great.”

Athena is their third daughter – following Venezuela, 11, Valencia Amber, three.

Their boys are Prince John James, eight, Prince Tyson II, four, and one-year-old Prince Adonis.

In February, Paris revealed that her daughter was due sometime in August, but stated that she was likely to go into labour early due to an undisclosed medical condition.

Speaking on Loose Women after announcing her pregnancy, she said: “I usually have a condition that makes the babies come a bit earlier so it will probably be the beginning of August, which is better for me, the last few weeks are terrible!”

The dad-of-six recently revealed that he wants to have another five children with Paris ahead of Athena’s arrival.

“It starts with a story nobody knows,” Tyson told the Daily Mail. “Paris became my girlfriend when she was 15 and me 16.”

He continued: “When time came for marriage, I asked her how many children she wanted. She said 10. I said that will do for me. Now we’ve decided to go for one more. Make it 11.”
