Kanye West was asked questions about his mental health in an interview with David Letterman on season two of the Netflix show, “My Next Guest Needs No Introduction.”
The rapper said he feels a heightened connection with the universe when he is ramping up.
He compared his struggle with bipolar disorder to “a sprained brain, like having a sprained ankle. And if someone has a sprained ankle, you’re not going to push on him more. With us, once our brain gets to a point of spraining, people do everything to make it worse.”
In the interview, West also doubled down on his support for President Donald Trump and called liberals ‘bullies’.
The man who said he has never voted in his life spoke in detail about the healthcare system in the U.S.
