I'm Spiraling: The Internet Found Meghan Markle's Dopplegänger on Instagram, and They Look SO Alike

It’s kinda hard to believe that the Duchess of Sussex—excuse me, Meghan Markle—could have someone walking around in the world who looks like her long-lost twin, but guess what? She does. Yep, you heard me right! Urban legends say everyone on this Earth has a dopplegänger, and apparently royals are not exceptions to the rule.

A couple of days ago, Kansas City, Missouri-based influencer, Akeisha Varnado Land, posted a picture of her and her daughter to their joint account. It was a super adorable photo that caught the attention of her 166,000 followers, not just because the picture was so gosh darn cute, but also because Akeisha seriously looks like Meghan in it. See for yourself:

An #usie with my littlest love in our matching “LOVE” sweatshirts from @coolkiidzwear ❤️ • What I love about these sweatshirts is not only their obvious adorableness, but also the fact that they aren’t super thick. Which is perfect for fall and winter because you can layer it with other things and not worry about sweating out your hair (ain’t nobody got time for that! 💁🏽‍♀️). And if your kid(s) are anything like mine, they get hot real fast running around all day, so lightweight layers are imperative. I also love that you’re able to take the layers off to rock it in the spring for those still cool days. These sweatshirts are perfect for year round cuteness! • Have a great week friends and remember to tell the people you care about that you love them… and as always, keep it cute! 😘

Your eyes are not playing tricks on you. Believe it or not, this is not Meghan. Here’s Meghan, as a refresher:

Akeisha’s followers were equally stunned by Akeisha and Meghan’s similarities in the comments, too:

Though it’s clear as day why Akeisha’s getting told that Meghan is her lookalike, she swears that she doesn’t see it all that much. “I get compared to her quite often, and not just online. Out and about, whether at church, the movie theater, or at the grocery store…even my close friends and family say I look like her! And even though I myself don’t see the similarities, I definitely take it as a huge compliment,” she told the Daily Mail.

Welp, if I looked like Meghan, I would accept all the compliments, all day long. But since that hasn’t happened yet, I’m (im)patiently waiting for the day I’m told I look like Beyoncé instead. Feel free!
