Helen Skelton took to her Instagram Stories to give fans a view of her eight-month bump ahead of swimming this afternoon. The 38-year-old is expecting her third child with husband Richie Myler.
She shared a picture of her burgeoning belly to prove a point to a friend of hers who said she didn’t look “that” pregnant.
The presenter is due to give birth on New Year’s Eve.
In view of her 254,000 followers, she commented: “Everyone needs friends that lie at the right time.
“Mine just told me today I don’t look ‘that’ pregnant. OK then.”
Helen announced her pregnancy news on her page back in September.
At the time, the presenter posed in her garden as her two sons Ernie and Louis touched her stomach.
She captioned the picture: “#grateful.”
Many of her fans flocked to her post to congratulate the star including Strictly Come Dancing professional Oti Mabuse and The One Show’s Alex Jones.
It is not known whether the pair are expecting a boy or a girl.
Speaking to Express.co.uk in 2019, Helen said she wouldn’t know what to do if she ever had a daughter.
She spilled: “I think where I’ve been surrounded by boys, I don’t really know.
“And I don’t like saying that because nowadays, you can’t say anything without it blowing up into a massive storm.

“I always thought I’d want more children, until my son started walking and now he runs around like a lunatic.
“I’ve got enough capacity at the minute, two boys, two dogs and a busy schedule.”
Helen tied the knot with rugby player Richie at a ceremony in Kirkby Thore in 2013.
Two years later, they welcomed their first born Ernie, followed by Louis in 2017.
She previously joked that their sons “walk all over” her.
“It’s hard when they don’t sleep. My oldest hasn’t slept longer than a three-hour chunk ever – that’s a challenge,” she spilled.
She added of having children: “It does turn your life upside down but in a good way.
“Every age has a stage and I’m grateful that I have them.”
