Harry Redknapp has revealed his beloved wife Sandra is ‘not very well’ and is receiving treatment – after falling ill with sepsis last year.
The winner of I’m A Celebrity admitted he rings his wife of 54 years eight times a day to check on her after she fell ill again.
Speaking at an AOL Build, 72-year-old Harry revealed: ‘She hasn’t been particularly well.

‘We have been to a specialist in London. I have rung her 8 times today just to see how she is.’
Harry almost quit I’m A Celebrity early after his wife became stricken with sepsis.
Sandra had been sick in the weeks before he entered the jungle but while taking part in the show, he wrongly believed she had become seriously ill.
He told The Sun: ‘She’s been ill with the sepsis and it’s knocked her for six.

‘Sandra was in and out of hospital but she wanted to come over to Australia.
‘I was worried about her coming, I didn’t know if it was going to be too much for her.’
Sandra was in hospital just days before Harry departed for Australia to take part in the series.
However, she was fit and healthy by the time she and several other of the celebrities’ friends and family made a surprise visit to the jungle.

In a emotional moment on the show, Harry believed he was being taken out of the jungle because his wife had taken ill but got was overcome with shock when he found her waiting for him.
The TV star and his other half teared up as they gave each other a kiss and Harry told viewers of his love for Sandra.
He said: ‘It’s funny, 54 years and we just don’t want to be apart, that’s done me up today, I’ve missed her so much.’
When leaving the I’m A Celebrity, Harry admitted he ‘couldn’t get his head’ around being branded a ‘sex symbol’ following his winning stint on the show.

But he insisted that he wouldn’t let his new heartthrob status go to his head as he branded his other half of 52 years a ‘super fit bird’.
He said: ‘Me a sex symbol? I can’t get my head around that and nor can Sandra, can you, Sandra?
Adding: ‘If I’d married an ugly old bird, sitting there with her rollers in, or someone I didn’t stop arguing with for 10 years, I might’ve ended up getting a divorce; but I married a super fit bird I get on great with.’

The football pundit insisted that the couple have never had a row even after 2016’s ‘freak’ car accident.
Sandra needed surgery on a badly injured ankle after the accident, which happened as former Spurs manager Harry pulled away from a parking spot in the family Range Rover and her coat trapped in the door.
Reflecting on the time, Harry said that she didn’t blame him for ‘turning her ankle into what looked like a slice of bacon’ as he insisted he wouldn’t know what to do without her.

The couple met at a dance in 1964 when Sandra was a 17-year-old hairdresser and Harry a youth prospect for West Ham.
Three years later, the pair married in June 1967 at Barking Abbey church, east London. They welcomed sons; Mark, 49, and football pundit Jaime, 45, in the years following.
In March, Harry shed a tear as he got emotional on Jonathan Ross’ eponymous show when discussing the pair’s relationship.
The footie fanatic revealed that he ‘feared the worst’ when Sandra was diagnosed with sepsis days before he jetted off to Australia for the reality show.
Harry was named the winner of last year’s series, beating out fellow finalists Emily Atack and John Barrowman to be crowned King of the Jungle.
