Emily Atack gets all dolled up for final dinner out with male pal

Emily Atack had the right idea and was seen enjoying one final dinner out before London was kicked back into tier three restrictions.

As of Wednesday, the Covid-19 risk in the capital increased and many areas were plunged into tier three, meaning bars, pubs and restaurants are being forced to close once more.

People are no longer allowed to meet anyone outside of their household or bubble indoors, in private gardens or outdoor venues.

So, naturally, Emily decided to see in tier three with one final slap-up meal and made sure she was dressed to impress while doing so.

The Celebrity Juice star and her pal dined out at Story restaurant and seemed to go all out, with Emily later sharing on her Instagram story that they’d thrown back cocktails and splashed out on oysters.

She looked just lovely wearing a monochrome printed midi skirt and slinky heels and covered up in a stylish camel coloured tailored coat.

Emily wore her hair up loosely, rocked a flawless make-up look and threw on some gold hoops to finish off her dinner date look.

Throughout lockdown, she’s become something of a source of inspiration for those, who like Emily, have been forced to isolate alone.

England has seen two national lockdowns so far this year, thanks to the coronavirus pandemic, which meant Emily has had to go long periods without seeing her friends and family in the flesh.

She opened up about her experience in April in an op-ed with Grazia, where she spoke of feeling ‘crushing anxiety’ and learning that it’s ok not to feel sad some times.

Emily wrote: ‘Being alone has always been my number one fear. And yet here I am. In the middle of a pandemic, completely isolated from everyone and everything I know and love, Instagraming myself poaching an egg. Caption: “I am a useless tosser.”‘

Opening up, the actress revealed: ‘I am learning it’s OK to feel sad right now, it’s OK to admit you’re a bit alone, and it’s OK to feel sh*t. Especially if you suffer with mental health issues. Give yourself a break. Instagram-perfect isolation is not a reality. If you’re on your own like me, or if you’re not, be kind to yourself.’

It was the kind of real-talk that we all needed and she was widely praised by fans for it.

Since then, fans have seen Emily make her debut as a team captain on Celebrity Juice, alongside Laura Whitmore and host Keith Lemon following Holly Willoughby’s decision to leave the show.

Emily also launched her own stand-up series The Emily Atack Show and thoroughly entertained us all, while not holding back as she spoke about everything from one night stands and racy DMs.

While she’s more than happy to openly talk about sex during her stand-up, Emily admitted that she has been criticised for being pretty explicit.

Taking her haters head on, however, Emily told Marie Claire: ‘I still receive negative criticism because I am a woman who talks openly about sex, and one night stands and getting drunk.

‘Just because we are women, it doesn’t make us disgusting or dirty sl*gs, it’s a part of everyday life. But men do it and have done for years, but yet they get given a gold star.’
