Demi Lovato’s ex-fiancé Max Ehrich seems to be putting their bitter split behind him, as he was caught packing on the PDA with singer Mariah Angeliq.
The Walk Ride Rodeo actor, 29, appears to be dating somebody new and moving on from his failed engagement, as he was seen kissing Mariah while the pair headed out to a beach in Miami.
Max was seen taking photos with his new girl and showering her with affection, while they cuddled up for selfies.
He planted a kiss on Mariah’s cheek, before turning to lock lips with her for another photo, as they got snap happy together on the sand.
Max was casually dressed in a motif T-shirt, tracksuit bottoms and trainers, while Mariah rocked a khaki green two-piece for their day date.
The couple looked pretty relaxed with each other and strolled along the shore with their arms wrapped around one another.
Their cosy appearance comes after Max dropped a new song that detailed his split from Demi and included lyrics that talk about being afraid of love.
In the track, he sings: ‘I’m afraid to give up my heart / I’m afraid to lose against love / I’m afraid, afraid to be broken apart / So I play, I play safe / Holding my guard.’
Max had recorded the song in a makeshift studio in the house he shared with Heart Attack hit-maker Demi, 28, during quarantine.
Demi, meanwhile, dropped her own tune after their split titled Still Have Me.
She and Max split after seven months of dating and two months after getting engaged in July. Sources at the time told People: ‘It was a tough decision, but Demi and Max have decided to go their separate ways to focus on their respective careers.’
‘They have respect and love for one another and will always cherish the time they spent together,’ the sources added.
Things then got complicated, however, when Max later took to his Instagram story to claim he found out about his newly single relationship status by reading the tabloids.
He doubled down on his claims when a source close to Demi insisted she had made Max aware of their engagement being called off.
Despite his claims, Max told fans he will still love Demi ‘unconditionally’.
He appealed to Demi on Instagram and wrote: ‘If you’re reading this … I love you always…. unconditionally… not matter what.’
‘Give her the Grammy she deserves! Demetria is THEE best female vocalist alive. And everyone should know it,’ Max continued. ‘She inspires me every day and is an INCREDIBLE human being.
‘I know it’s not her writing these stories. It’s a machine. I love her unconditionally. Demetria I love you always and forever.’
