"My diet is terrible," Dan told us, continuing: "It's not that I eat unhealthy I just don't eat enough.

"I literally eat one or two meals a day and I don't know why. I feed the kids and I forget to feed myself and I end up eating their leftovers and that's it. It's bad, I need to sort that out."

The star has been showing off his chiselled physique on Instagram after training with former European boxing champ Spencer Oliver.

Discussing his journey, Dan, who has only boxed once in the past in an amateur town hall competition, said he'll continue training after the match.

"I will carry on training afterwards! Not as serious training but I think I'll do it once or twice a week to shave a bit of body fat off but I'm looking forward to getting back to a good weight.

"I've lost so much size and weight so I do feel a bit skinny at the minute. It's good though, I love boxing."

Dan has been busy juggling life as a dad to three adorable kids and doing up his and wife Jacqueline Jossa's new £1.2 million Essex mansion.

As well as a cinema and a huge garden, the abode also boasts an amazing Lego room which Dan had built so he could enjoy his passion.
