Chrissy Teigen Speaks Out About Having More Kids

In an emotional Instagram post uploaded before Christmas 2020, Chrissy Teigen revealed that she will not ever be pregnant again. “I love being pregnant, so so much, and I’m sad I never will be again,” she wrote in the caption of the post. The news came after Teigen and her husband John Legend suffered a pregnancy loss at 20 weeks. The two had recently announced that they were expecting their third child together when Teigen experienced some bleeding. She was put on bed rest, and later hospitalized, according to Today. A short while later, she and Legend learned that their baby, whom they called Jack, was gone.

Teigen shared some extremely emotional photos on Instagram, and penned a long tribute to baby Jack. “I’m so sorry that the first few moments of your life were met with so many complications, that we couldn’t give you the home you needed to survive. We will always love you,” Teigen wrote in part. And while many fans were under the impression that Teigen and Legend just didn’t want to have any more children after going through the devastating loss, that doesn’t seem to be the case at all. Read on to find out what Teigen had to say about growing her family.

Chrissy Teigen would love to grow her family

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are the proud parents of two children, Luna and Miles. In an interview with People magazine, Teigen — who covers April 12, 2021, issue — opened up about wanting to grow her family. “I can’t imagine a life without [my children] – I just cannot… And I can’t imagine a life without more, honestly, so we’ll see,” she told the outlet, according to Page Six. She told the outlet that a new addition would come by way of “IVF or adoption.”

Teigen also shared what she and Legend decided to do with Jack’s ashes. “The whole reason that I wanted it was so Jack’s ashes could be in that soil and he could be with us all the time and grow through the beautiful leaves on this tree and always be a part of us,” she explained, adding “He wasn’t just a moment in time. He was real and he was real to us and we loved him.”
