Beyoncé has earned her 30th top 10 hit on Billboard‘s R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart with the help of “Before I Let Go.”
According to Billboard, “Before I Let Go” jumped from 11th position to 10th on the list dated June 15. The single recorded a 15% increase to 17.4 million in audience in the week ending June 9, according to Nielsen Music.
“Before I Let Go” is a remake of the 1981 hit single by Maze featuring Frankie Beverly that hit No. 13 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. The remake was released as a bonus track on Beyoncé’s Homecoming: Live album in April.
With her 30th top 10 song, Beyoncé has overtaken Mary J. Blige, who has 29 career top 10s. Beyoncé is now in second place among all women, just behind Nicki Minaj, who has 31 top 10 songs. Among all acts, Drake leads the list with 65.
