Rachel Burden shared an update with her 82,000 followers earlier today as she revealed she was undergoing a dental procedure. The BBC Breakfast star was inundated with support from her colleagues and followers after sharing the news.

Rachel is well known for her hosting on BBC Radio 5Live and BBC Breakfast.

However, the broadcaster has shared a personal update as she revealed more about her health.

Rachel shared a selfie from inside the dentist’s office with a worried face.

Alongside this, she penned: “This is my ‘preparing to have a busted tooth yanked out’ face.

“Hoping this face will be retired for a good few years now.

“I’m on soup and yogurt for two days and no teeth cleaning – yuk.

“But at least I had @jsoverend and @bigdaddybunce in my ear to drown out the drilling.”

The BBC presenter was inundated with support after she shared the update on social media.

One of her colleagues penned: “Oof – lots of sympathy!”

Another follower penned: “Hope it goes has gone well..”

A third wrote to Rachel: “Lucky you have only one!

“I reckon my bottom rack needs to be replaced. The joy of getting older.”

“Oh the joys. Good luck,” replied a fourth user.

Elsewhere, Rachel revealed she had broken her ankle recently.

This came as she shared a snap of her with crutches on her social media.

Posting on Instagram, she wrote: “Morning. We’ve ditched the grown up shoes today.

“Bad idea with a slightly broken ankle.

“And I got caught kicking them off on the sofa.

“So I scrubbed up the daughter’s airforce.

“Happy Friday to you all,” she added to her 10,000 followers.
