Bam Margera is back behind bars.
Shortly after leaving rehab, the troubled “Jackass” star, 39, was arrested by the LAPD at 11:56 p.m. on Tuesday night, per Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department records obtained by Page Six on Wednesday. He was placed under a citizen’s arrest and was booked early Wednesday morning.
Margera was taken into custody for trespassing after he left a rehab facility that Dr. Phil McGraw was helping him with. He allegedly refused to leave the Luxe Hotel on Sunset after causing a scene, according to TMZ.
His total bail was set at $1,000 and he is currently being held in the Valley Jail in Van Nuys, Calif., per the Sheriff’s Department records.
“He doesn’t need a lawyer to get out,” his dad, Phil, told us on Wednesday. “He was trespassing. I don’t know all the details, so I better not speculate.”
“He’s allowed to get out on his own. He was drunk so they’re gonna let him sober up and then he can leave on his own when they say it’s time. That’s all I truly know.”
It’s unclear if Dr. Phil has been in contact with Margera since the arrest or if he will help the reality star again.
Margera reached out to Dr. Phil for help via social media earlier this month. Shortly after, his dad told us that “he’s having sort of a breakdown.” He met with the television doctor and went to rehab — and then even got a tattoo reading “Dr. Phil.”
This was Margera’s fourth rehab stint. He has struggled with alcoholism since his “Jackass” days and completed a third rehab stint in January after being arrested for DUI.
